This Incoterm represents the minimum obligation for the seller and is valid for all types of transportation, including the national exchanges. The product is available in the seller's premises to date. The buyer is responsible for arranging and paying for transportation to the final destination.
In this Incoterm, the mode of transport chosen by the seller also takes all at his own expense to the point of destination. When the cargo is delivered to the first carrier, the responsibilities are transferred from the seller to the buyer. It shall bear the cost of insurance.
The seller provides the goods on the vessel designated by the buyer. It was at this time that the transfer of responsibilities and fresh place. Are charged to the seller the cost of transport to the port of shipment and loading costs and export clearance. The buyer is responsible for choosing the ship and pay the shipping freight.

This Incoterm means the minimum requirement for the buyer. The seller pays for all transportation costs, taxes and responsibility to delivery. It is also responsible for export and import formalities. The buyer shall bear only the costs of unloading.
